| Please support me for my Jimmy Fund walk in September! I am attempting to walk 26.2 miles! This marathon benefits the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. As I am a patient of theirs, it seemed appropriate to participate. Please donate and lend your support to wiping cancer off the face of the earth! Style It Up named Black Pearl Creations as a 2007 Favorite Fashion Designer!
This is a great honor as the staff of Style It Up see many creations throughout the year. They bring these
designers into their studio and interview them for their television show. I know some of the designers that were
featured in 2007. They are very driven and creative. I am humbled to think my work stood out.
The "Favorite Designer" episode aired on 11/19 on and BNN Ch 23 in Boston. This is a Comcast channel. It will air
again on 12/26 and a couple of times after that into the new year. Please go to my Videos page to see it!

* We are pleased to announce Black Pearl Creations' newest model for our upcoming men's line: LeShon Brown.
LeShon has been modeling since the age of 3. When asked about this opportunity, he stated, "Cool." We look
forward to seeing LeShon in upcoming menswear designs.

* Black Pearl Creations was proud to support the Citizens Advice Bureau and the 2007 Living Legends
Honorees on November 14 in the Bronx.

* Black Pearl Creations held their Studio Open House on the 24th. Many items were offered at prices that
are not available to the public. New designs were also debuted. Designer and CEO of Plekas Closet was
available with her lastest custom jewelry pieces. Facials and hand massages were provided by Debra Glass
(dglass@marykay.com). And beautiful black art was provided by April Johnson (winrt8itsall@yahoo.com). The gift
bags were full of goodies and everyone had a great time! We look forward to putting on next year's event!

Our menswear model, LeShon, has done some growing up in the past 2 years! It's been a pleasure to work
with him! He recently modeled at the Cellebration Fashion Show on behalf of Black Pearl Creations in June
2009. He did an excellent job and we are proud to say he received the most catcalls!
